quick chop suey
This is the recipe as we got it from my wife's mother. Like most recipes, I of course had to play with this one a bit. I split it so I could do half with veggie crumbles, since I'm a vegetarian, and half with hamburger for my meat-eating wife.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (or veggie crumbles)
- 1 can la choy chop suey vegetables
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 can mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1 can la choy chow mein noodles
How To Make quick chop suey

Step 1Cook the rice and brown salted ground beef.

Step 2To ground beef add chop suey vegetables, soy sauce, and mushrooms.

Step 3Disolve 3 level tablespoons corn starch in 1 cup cold water and to above mixture.

Step 4Serve over cooked rice and Chinese noodles.
