This is a recipe my dad grilled in Eagle River. It is fantastic, but that is to be expected from the grill master!

Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- - lemon pepper
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 2 ounces canned mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 2 tablespoons each finely chopped onion and green pepper
How To Make poor boy fillets

Step 1Partially cook bacon, drain on paper towel. Pat beef on waxed paper to 12x7 1/2x1/4" rectangle. Sprinkle lightly with salt and lemon pepper. Top with cheese. Combine mushrooms, onion and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over meat. Roll up jelly roll style starting from short end. Cut into 1 1/2" slices. Wrap each with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Grill over med coals, 8 min per side. Serve.
