meatball burgers
Recently while vacationing in Florida I was watching a food show at my aunt's house called "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and saw a similar recipe on it and it inspired me to make my own. I just made these on 8/10/15 and they were amazing! Next time I make these I might try a little hot sauce in the marinara to kick up the spice a bit or perhaps substitute one of the cheeses used for swiss.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 jar meat marinara
- 2 pinches garlic powder
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 8 slices muenster cheese
- 2 - raw eggs
How To Make meatball burgers
-
Step 1Open up your 2 pounds of ground beef, place in bowl with 2 raw eggs and mash them together. Form two patties and place in pan on stove and set heat at medium-high.
-
Step 2Take meat flavored marinara sauce, open the jar and empty into sauce pan and simmer. Add the pinches of garlic powder as it heats up. More may be added if desired.
-
Step 3The patties should cook fairly fast so have buns ready with one side of a bun having a slice of muenster cheese on it and the other side having provolone.
-
Step 4When patties are cooked, place both on each side of the buns and pour a table spoon of hot marinara over one of the patties and then put both halves together to enjoy!
-
Step 5Repeat steps 1 through 4 to make burgers until you run out of meat.
