This is the most famous hamburger of our village. It was invented some 45 years ago by the owner of the only burger shop back then. For the onions, you can get boxes of fried onions in Germany, they're dry and can be stored for a long time. If you cannot get those, fry your own onions, it's more work but sure at least as yummy as the boxed ones.

Ingredients For hamburger new

1burger bun

1burger pattie
-
1/2 cketchup
-
2 tspcurry powder
-
4lettuce leaves
-
1tomato
-
1/4 cfried onions
-
1 Tbsppickled cucumber (sweet and sour)

2 Tbspmayonnaise

1 tspprepared mustard
How To Make hamburger new

1Combine ketchup and curry powder

2Combine mayonnaise and mustard

3Slice the tomatoes and the pickled cucumber

4Lightly toast the split burger bun while grilling the hamburger patty

5Place the lettuce leaves on the bottom of the bun, then top with the tomato slices

6Put the burger patty on the tomatoes, then top with the sliced cucumber

7Pour ketchup over it, then top with the mayo and finally the fried onions. Top with upper half of the bun

8Don't try to eat this with your hands. Use fork and knife, or you'll end up with a huge mess :-)
