This is the most famous hamburger of our village. It was invented some 45 years ago by the owner of the only burger shop back then. For the onions, you can get boxes of fried onions in Germany, they're dry and can be stored for a long time. If you cannot get those, fry your own onions, it's more work but sure at least as yummy as the boxed ones.

Ingredients
- 1 burger bun
- 1 burger pattie
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato
- 1/4 cup fried onions
- 1 tablespoon pickled cucumber (sweet and sour)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
How To Make hamburger new

Step 1Combine ketchup and curry powder

Step 2Combine mayonnaise and mustard

Step 3Slice the tomatoes and the pickled cucumber

Step 4Lightly toast the split burger bun while grilling the hamburger patty

Step 5Place the lettuce leaves on the bottom of the bun, then top with the tomato slices

Step 6Put the burger patty on the tomatoes, then top with the sliced cucumber

Step 7Pour ketchup over it, then top with the mayo and finally the fried onions. Top with upper half of the bun

Step 8Don't try to eat this with your hands. Use fork and knife, or you'll end up with a huge mess :-)
