Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup dry Italian bread crumbs
- 2 egg whites or 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons finely diced red onion
- 2 tablespoons finely diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dry basil
- 2 teaspoons dry oregano
- 2 ounces crumbled feta cheese
- salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make greek style chicken burgers

Step 1Using clean hands, mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.

Step 2Divide the chicken mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into patties.

Step 3Spray broiler pan with some cooking spray. Broil patties 5 inches from heat for 5 minutes per side or until juices run clear and chicken is cooked through.

Step 4Serve on a bun with your favorite veggie toppings or serve without a bun and a bit of tzatziki sauce.
