You can add slices of mozzarella cheese if you prefer cheeseburgers.
I like to serve these with my zucchini fries.

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 oz
    ground lamb
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped black olives
  • 1 c
    feta cheese crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried mint
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    bell pepper chopped small
  • 1 Tbsp
    diced onion
  • 2 1/2 c
    baby spinach leaves
  • 1 large
    tomato, sliced
  • 6 Tbsp
  • 6
    hamburger buns

How to Make Greek Burgers


  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground lamb, bell pepper, onion, olives and all the seasonings well.
  2. Form into 6 equal sized patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium high heat or heat a grill to medium high.
  4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the desired doneness.
  5. Spread 1 tablespoon of the hummus on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. When the patties are done, place one on each dressed bun.
  7. Top with spinach leaves and tomato slices. COver with the top buns. Serve immediately.
