core hamburger patty dinner
This was something cooked in Core training and my daughter shared with me. I, of course, adjusted it to my personal preference and this was the result. Cooking with the frozen burger has 2 purposes; 1) easy to carry into camp without spoiling like raw burger would, and 2) as the burger cooks, the ice and juice help steam the rest of the ingredients. This is super (no pun intended) easy and everyone likes to make it their own by adding their favorite soups. If you have vegans along, see if you can find a vegan burger to substitute, then they can take part in the cooking too!

How To Make core hamburger patty dinner
-
Step 1Take a piece of foil. Put the frozen hamburger patty on the center. Top with a spoon or two of the mixed veggies (I got the stew veggies can from GFS). We then added onion slices, but you don't have to if you don't like onion. Top with cream of whatever soup you like. I always like cream of mushroom, but you could use any flavor. Close up the packet and seal well. Put on a second piece of foil.

Step 2Grill until meat is heated through, then eat out of the foil.
