My spin on the Hardee’s El Diablo Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 bottle habanero sauce
  • 1 jar jalapeño slices
  • 1 package frozen cheesy jalapeño poppers
  • 1 package pepper jack cheese slices
  • 1 package sliced bacon, fully cooked
  • 1 small head of lettuce
  • tomato slices
  • 1 package frozen onion rings
  • 1 package large burger buns, with or without seeds

How To Make copycat el diablo burger

  • Step 1
    Start by preparing frozen items first according to package directions. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine taco seasoning mix and ground beef together in large bowl and shape into patties.
  • Step 3
    Preheat skillet to 350, place patties in hot skillet and fry to medium/medium well. Remove from skillet, drain on paper towels if needed. Set aside.
  • Step 4
    Dress buns with lettuce, tomato, hamburger patty, cheese, bacon, jalapeño slices, jalapeño poppers and onion rings. Drizzle with habanero sauce. Finish with top of bun. Serve with a tall glass of milk. (?) Not for the faint of heart.
