These are yummy. No need for buns. Chili dog sauce over a burger. Awesome

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small yellow onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 8 ounces can tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon each chili powder and sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream for serving

How To Make chili cheeseburger burger

  • Step 1
    Add salt and pepper to ground beef and mix well. Form 4 bun size patties fry the patties and set aside to keep warm.
  • Step 2
    Crumble the remaining beef into the same pan you fried the patties in. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the meat is no longer pink. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, sugar, and cumin and simmer about 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Serve the chiliburger sauce over the patties and top with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.
