zesty tomato mac and beef
I cut this recipe out of a magazine many years ago. It is simple and has been a family favorite. The green chilies give it a little "zip".

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 can 14.5 oz zesty diced tomatoes with mild green chilies
- 1 cup dried elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
How To Make zesty tomato mac and beef

Step 1Brown ground beef with onion.

Step 2Cook macaroni and mix the ground beef mixture and add tomato sauce and tomatoes with chilies.

Step 3Pour into greased 2 quart casserole dish and top with cheese.

Step 4Bake 30 minutes covered, uncover and bake 15 additional minutes.
