Ingredients
- SEASON THE STEAK
- 1 pound beef round steak
- pinch red pepper flakes
- dash black pepper
- PERPARE THE STEAK COATING
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons suger
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup white wine
- VEGGIE INGREDIENTS
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil divided
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 - medium carrots sliced thin
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup pea pods
- 1 cup mushrooms sliced
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- FINISHING TOUCH
- 1 box cooked rice
How To Make zesty beef stir-fry

Step 1In a bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and wine until smooth.

Step 2Add beef and toss to coat; set aside.

Step 3In a large skillet, stir-fry broccoli, carrots, pea pods and onion in 1 tablespoon oil for 1 minute. Cover and simmer for 4 minutes; remove and keep warm.

Step 4In the same skillet, stir-fry beef in remaining oil until meat reaches desired doneness. Return vegetables to pan; toss.

Step 5Serve over rice. I used the brand A TASTE OF THAI - garlic basil coconut (6.7 oz)
