My crockpot is my friend! This easy to make recipe is truly delicious. You can add additional veggies you love. Thicken the left over juice for a lovely gravy if you like.

Ingredients

2 lb
beef chuck roast
1 medium
package of red potatoes
1 lb
organic carrots
1/2
bulb of garlic
1 qt
water
2 Tbsp
beef base
salt and pepper to taste
1 sprig(s)
rosemary
2
quartered onions

How to Make Yummy Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  • 1Gather all ingredients.
  • 2Put a crockpot liner into crockpot.
  • 3Half red potatoes and put into crockpot.
  • 4Add whole carrots to crockpot.
  • 5Add 2 quartered onions to crockpot.
  • 6Place pot roast on top of veggies. Salt & pepper to taste.
  • 7Boil 1 quart of water on the stove.
  • 8Add two tablespoons of beef base. Dissolve base in water.
  • 9Add the beef base to the crockpot. You can use beef stock instead of beef base but make it a really good stock.
  • 10Add one sprig of Rosemary.
  • 11Set crockpot to low and cook 6-8 hours.
