Ingredients

  • 4 cups wild rice, cooked
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1.25 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper

How To Make wild rice meat loaf

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.
  • Step 2
    Firmly press into a greased 9x5x3\" loaf pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 70 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Cover with foil during the last 15 minutes if the top is browning too quickly.
