White Castle hamburgers have been around forever in Illinois. These are the best. I don't remember where I found this recipe but whenever I make them nobody can believe they are not the real thing. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 - egg
- 12 tablespoons water
- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
- 1 package pepperidge farm small dinner rolls
- 4 slices american cheese(optional) cut to size
How To Make white castles hamburgers

Step 1Mix all but rolls into jelly roll pan.

Step 2Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 mins.

Step 3Place top of buns on top and cut to size.

Step 4Put sandwiches together and garnish with brown mustard pickle and cheese if desired.

Step 5Wrap individual sandwiches in paper towel and microwave for about one minute to melt cheese and blend flavors. This last step is important.
