- 1 pound ground beef
- 16 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 1 can sweet peas, 8.5 ounces
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheese
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1.5 cups water
- 3/4 cup brown rice, raw
- 1/2 tablespoon oil

Step 1In a skillet on high heat add the oil and brown the meat, stirring frequently.

Step 2Drain any excess fat.

Step 3Stir in the onion soup mix, water, rice, tomatoes and peas.

Step 4Simmer 25 minutes until rice is tender; top with cheese.
