I like to make these when I know I'm going to be on the run for most of the day. I can throw them in the microwave after they're cooked for a quick warming and be on the way!!

Ingredients

  • 2 bag(s)
    pizza dough
  • 1/2 lb
    hamburg
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic salt
  • slice
    cheddar cheese

How to Make Walk Around Burger

Step-by-Step

  1. Set oven to 300*
  2. Brown the hamburg with the minced onions, garlic salt and crushed red pepper and drain the beef. Set aside to cool.
  3. Cut the dough into pieces and form into palm sized circles.
  4. Stuff the center with the meat mixture and place the cheddar slice (I usually cut in quarters) inside.
  5. Fold one side to the other to create a pocket and pinch the sides shut. Set in the oven on a lightly greased pan for about 45 minutes. I will sometimes coat the outside with a little bit of melted butter and garlic salt.
  6. Voila! Cheeseburgers that you can walk around with and not worry about making a mess. Serve with a side of your favorite dip if you wish!
