This was something Grandpa W loved, so Grandma made it for him when veal was on sale.

Ingredients

  • 6 - 4 ounce veal cutlets
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 6 ounces grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • - olive oil
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese

How To Make veal parmigiana, grandma w

  • Step 1
    Oven to 375 degrees. Dip veal in beaten egg. Combine bread crumbs, half parmesan, salt, pepper and oregano. Coat veal with this mixture. Saute in olive oil until brown. Place in shallow baking dish, pour with tomato sauce and sprinkle with remaining parmesan. Top with mozzarella and bake 20 min.
