My daughter Noel's favorite football player is Urlacher.... If his team is playing... these sandwiches are called Urlacher Stacker Sandwiches.... If his team is not playing... she still calls them Urlacher Stacker Sandwiches! LOL Noel says these sandwiches are big enough to tame any MONSTER! They are made by the individuals eating them.... they can stack on as much or as little as they want... so everyone gets what they want and they do all the work too! Great for games or parties of any kind!

Ingredients

  • URLACHER STACKER SAUCE
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup italian dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon each: garlic powder, ground black pepper, dry basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • FAVORITE ITALIAN BREAD OR ROLLS
  • - enough to make desired amount of sandwiches
  • FIXINGS
  • 1 pound shaved ham
  • 1 pound shaved turkey
  • 1 pound shaved beef
  • 1 pound thin sliced hard salami
  • 1 pound swiss cheese sliced thin
  • 1 pound cheddar cheese sliced thin
  • 1 large red onion sliced thin
  • 1 - red bell pepper sliced in thin strips
  • 2 jars dill pickle (stackers)
  • 1 - head lettuce
  • 1 jar hot peppers
  • 4 - tomatoes sliced thin

How To Make urlacher stacker sandwiches (build your own sandwich)

  • Step 1
    Mix together the sauce ingredients. Refrigerate until just before using.
  • Step 2
    Prepare all of the fixings and put into containers with lids, or in bowls with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until just before using.
  • Step 3
    Put the Bread/rolls in a bowl on the table at the beginning of the buffet line. Next the Urlacher Stacker Sauce and any other condiments you want to put out.
  • Step 4
    The meats and cheeses are next. The vegetables and pickles are last.
  • Step 5
    Just let your guests go through the buffet line and make their own Urlacher Stacker Sandwiches!
  • Step 6
    We serve sandwiches with chips, salads, beans and what ever else sounds good!
