Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 pkg
    chopped green peppers (4-5 cups if fresh)
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes
  • 1 c
    uncooked rice
  • 2 c
    shredded cheese
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    italian seasoning
  • 4 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1
    small can of tomato sauce

How to Make UNstuffed peppers

Step-by-Step

  1. brown turkey onions, and green peppers for 5 minutes. season with salt and pepper
  2. preheat oven to 350
  3. stir in the tomatoes, seasoning, rice, water and worch. cover and simmer until the rice is done. (about 10-15 minutes)
  4. when thats done stir in half of the cheese. Pour into a baking dish and top with the tomato sauce and rest of cheese. Bake 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and turkey is cooked through
