Ingredients For unstuffed cabbage rolls

  • 1 1/2-2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    cooking oil
  • 1 lg
    onion chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 sm
    cabbage chopped
  • 2 can
    (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can
    (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt

How To Make unstuffed cabbage rolls

  • 1
    In large skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook stirring until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender.

    Add garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute. Add chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, salt and pepper.

    Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until cabbage is tender.
