I have come a long way since then...I went out and bought the "Joy Of Cooking" and never looked back. This recipe reminds me of my "dumb cook" days.
How to Make Turbo Burger
- 1Fry beef and drain. add all ingredients and cook on low stirring until thick and liquid is starting to evaporate, roughly 10 minutes.
To thicken add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch dissolved in 1 cup water. Add a little at a time till it holds together and is thickened.
- 2Keep stirring till it is as thick as you want.
Prepare hamburger buns on a plate Using an ice cream scoop place a large scoop of "burger" on a bun. Place top and serve.
You will need a wet cloth for blast off!!!
