Ingredients

  • 20 oz
    bag frozen cheese tortellini unthawed
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    onion diced
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 15 oz
    can diced tomatoes
  • 3 c
    beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    beef bouillon
  • 4 Tbsp
    cream cheese
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 c
    shredded cheese blend cheddar/monteraray jack
  • 2 tsp
    fresh parsley chopped for garnish

How to Make Tortellini and Ground Beef Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the ground beef with onions and garlic. Cook until onions are soft and beef is no longer pink . Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add Italian seasoning.
  2. Stir in the tortellini, beef broth and bouillon. Add the undrained tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce to a simmer and simmer until most of liquid is absorbed.
  3. Stir in the cream cheese and the shredded cheese. Cook until cheese is melted. Serve garnished with parsley
