My whole family had seconds & thirds! If you have any leftovers, these would make an awesome meatloaf sandwich the next day!

Ingredients
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 - egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- - shortening
- - water
How To Make top-stove meatloaf

Step 1Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup and remaining ingredients. Shape into two loaves.

Step 2Brown in skillet in shortening. Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Spoon off fat.

Step 3Mix together remaining soup and 1/3 cup water. Pour over and around loaves. Cook uncovered 10 additional minutes, stirring often, and keeping tops of meatloaves covered with soup
