My aunt Toots served this casserole frequently. Everyone loves it. I still make it today. It is a wonderful comfort food.
Ingredients For toots's steak casserole
3-4 slicecube steak-fried and drippings saved
2 cancream of mushroom soup
1 cansliced potatoes-vegetable section of store
- ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***
How To Make toots's steak casserole
1Fry cube steak until cooked. Place on paper towels to drain. Save pan drippings. Add soup to drippings and bring to a boil. After steak has cooled a little, cut into bite-size pieces. In a large round casserole dish layer as follows: potato,onion,steak and repeat. Pour soup mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
