Well, I finally got this recipe from my husband by agreeing to be his "sous chef". lol

This is a delicious homemade version of a traditional ground beef taco. The meat mixed in with the pureed spicy beans makes it a creamy delicious mixture for basic tacos.

I hope you enjoy Tony's version of a spicy ground beef tacos.

Ingredients

GROUND BEEF MIXTURE

3 lb
ground beef
1 can(s)
chili beans, hot or mild
1 large
sweet red bell peppers, diced
1 can(s)
green chiles
1 can(s)
tomato soup
1/2 c
no sodium taco seasoning mix (see below)

FOR THE TACOS

2 box
taco shells or tortilla chips
1 small
lettuce head, shredded
1 bag(s)
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 jar(s)
salsa, chunky
1 bunch
cilantro, fresh & chopped
1 pt
sour cream

Step-By-Step

1Gather your ingredients
2Brown your ground beef and then drain off the excess grease. I brown my beef in my Tupperware stacker cooker. It browns and drains off the grease at the same time. It's less messy & quicker to cook. It takes about 8 minutes.
3Puree the beans in a food processor or a blender.
4Put your cooked ground beef in a large pan on top stove. Add your beans, tomato soup and seasonings & stir till combined.
5Let it cook on a medium to low heat for about 30 minutes.
6Prepare the condiments for tacos.
Once you have condiments ready put the taco meat mixture into a bowl and serve.
7Here is my sweet friend Margaret's recipe for the seasoning. If you want to add salt, I would do it after you get the seasonings all mixed in. Her recipe has such great flavor you really don't miss the salt.
