Tom's French Meat Pie
1 lbground pork
1 lbground beef
1/4 tspeach of ground cinnamon,nutmeg and clove
1/2 tspsalt (or more to taste)
1/2 tspground black pepper
1double pie crust(top and bottom crust) for 8in pie plate
How to Make Tom's French Meat Pie
- The prep time indicated above does not include making a pie crust,so piece that in,unless you are using a store bought crust.
Cook the potatoes.Drain water off and mash them,adding a little milk,and butter.Set them aside.
- Brown the onion and mix in with the 2 meat'a till all are browned and cooked thru.Drain fat.Add the spices,salt,pepper and potaotes.Mix together and put into an unbaked pie crust.Cover with a top crust.
- Make a small slit on top of the crust so pie can breathe while baking.
Bake at 350 for an hour until crust is browned.
Let pie set about 5 min's and then serve.
