Ingredients

  • - 1 pound ground beef of your choice
  • - 1 pkg dry onion soup mix
  • - 1/3 cup bread crumbs ( unseasoned is best)
  • - 1 lrg. egg
  • - 4 tablespoons a1-steak sauce (or favortie steak sauce)
  • - black pepper to desired taste
  • - do not use any salt until taste tested ... onion soup makes up for the salt
  • - note: you can add a cube of your favorite cheese when forming patty ... make sure cheese is completely covered with meat

How To Make thick juicy burgers

  • Step 1
    In medium size bowl mix all ingredients together. Form 5 patties. Grill or fry to desired doneness. Variation: These burgers are good with a brown gravy made from pan drippings ...serve with mashed potatoes.
