Spending time Cooking with my Godmother is some of the most fun I have in the Kitchen. Today we made Burgers our own way. She made a steak salad burger. I did something a little different, I hope you all enjoy :)

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 oz beef patty
  • 1 tablespoon shredded or grated romano cheese
  • 1 slice pepperjack cheese
  • 1/2 - spanish onion
  • 3 tablespoons hellmanns mayo
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch black pepper

How To Make the kitchen sink burger

  • Step 1
    Grease a Frying pan generously with oil. Over medium heat, Allow to heat slightly and place the tablespoon of Romano in the pan, allow to melt, and flip when golden brown, repeat on the other side, and remove from pan and allow to cool.
  • Step 2
    Julienne your onions and fry in 1T of butter until translucent. Once translucent, add 1T of sugar and slowly fry until brown and caramelized
  • Step 3
    Fry your burger, and cook as desired.
  • Step 4
    Allow Pepperjack to melt and serve on your favorite bread or bun.
  • Step 5
    Mix together mayo. Combine, Cumin, Pepper, Garlic Powder and mix till combine.
  • Step 6
    Assemble as desired, Burger, Onions, Lettuce, Romano Crisp, Mayo on the top bun, and enjoy! :)
