1Brown your roast if you want. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, depending on time. If you are going to brown it then dredge roast in flour (that has had salt and pepper added to it) first and brown in several tablespoons of oil.
Thinly slice onion and brown it along with the roast
Put the onions and garlic cloves on the bottom of your crockpot. Next lay roast on top of that sprinkle the dry package of onion soup mix ontop of roast then put the mushroom soup on top of that. Try to even out the soups as much as possibl.
2Turn crock pot on high for about 30 min to an hour. Then depending on your pot let it cook on either low or med for up to 8 hours.. and it is sooooooooooo good
3If time allows in the last hour of cooling I will add quartered poatoes and carrots.
