thinly sliced leek white and light green parts only
4 clove
garlic minced
1 lb
ground beef
1 Tbsp
red curry paste
1/2 c
tomato sauce
1 Tbsp
tomato paste
1/4 c
coconut cream
juice and zest of 1 small lime
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
fish sauce
romaine lettuce leaves
1/2 c
fresh cilantro chopped
sweet chili sauce to drizzle on top

How to Make Thai Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps


  • 1Coat a nonstick pan with cooking spray. Add the leek and cook for 5 minutes than add the garlic and saute 1 minute. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  • 2Stir in the curry paste, tomato sauce and tomato paste cook 2 minutes. Add the coconut milk, lime juice and zest, brown sugar, and fish sauce. Cook until thickened.
  • 3Serve on lettuce leaves with sprinkled with cilantro and drizzle with sweet chili sauce.
