  • 1 c
    thinly sliced leek white and light green parts only
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    red curry paste
  • 1/2 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1/4 c
    coconut cream
  • ·
    juice and zest of 1 small lime
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • ·
    romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 c
    fresh cilantro chopped
  • ·
    sweet chili sauce to drizzle on top

How to Make Thai Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps


  1. Coat a nonstick pan with cooking spray. Add the leek and cook for 5 minutes than add the garlic and saute 1 minute. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in the curry paste, tomato sauce and tomato paste cook 2 minutes. Add the coconut milk, lime juice and zest, brown sugar, and fish sauce. Cook until thickened.
  3. Serve on lettuce leaves with sprinkled with cilantro and drizzle with sweet chili sauce.
