This is an easy way to serve up some bbq'd beef sandwiches. You could easily do this in the crockpot as well.

Ingredients For texas shredded beef

1/2 cbrown sugar

1 tspworchestershire sauce
-
1/2 tsptabasco or to taste

1 tspchili powder
-
1/2 tspseasoned pepper

1-2 clovegarlic, minced

1 bottle14 oz. bottle ketchup (or can use heinz chili sauce if preferred)

3/4 cwater
-
2 conion, chopped
-
3 1/2-4 lbchuck roast
How To Make texas shredded beef

1Place beef in a casserole dish.

2Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the beef. Cover and bake at 275 degrees for 6 hours.

3Remove from oven and shred the beef with two forks. Meat should fall apart easily.

4Serve beef on hamburger buns or serve over mashed potatoes.
