Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 medium bell pepper chopped
- 3 - jalapeno peppers chopped ribs and seeds removed
- 1 pound hamburger
- 2 cans pettie diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup can or frozen corn
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- - salt and pepper
- 11/2 cups any kind of shreded cheese
How To Make texas hash

Step 1In large pan cook garlic, onion, bell peppers and jalapeno peppers in olive oil about 5 minutes. Then add hambuger meat and cook until no longer pink. Do not drain.

Step 2Add cans of tomatoes, corn, chili powder, rice, salt and pepper to taste. Let cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 3Pour mixture into a 9x13 pan cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Step 4Take out of oven leave covered and let sit for about 5 minutes. Remove cover and spread cheese over top.
