this is a great hash my mom got from her friend that lives in texas it's really good

Ingredients

ground beef
3 large
onions, sliced
1 large
green bell pepper, chopped
1 can(s)
(16 oz) tomatoes
1/2 c
uncooked rice
2 tsp
salt
1 to 2 tsp
chili powder

How to Make Texas Hash

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large skillet, cook and stir meat, onions and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain well.
  • 2Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper. Heat thoroughly.
  • 3Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
