this is a great hash my mom got from her friend that lives in texas it's really good

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (16 oz) tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons chili powder

How To Make texas hash

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, cook and stir meat, onions and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain well.
  • Step 2
    Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper. Heat thoroughly.
  • Step 3
    Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
