This one is a keeper. My family loves this one. I still make it for me and my husband. It can easily be doubled whIch I have done many times. It is a wonderful dish anytime of the year and very filling. I know you will love it and you can always add something of your own.

Ingredients
- 3 large onions
- 1 large green pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups canned tomatoes
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How To Make texas hash

Step 1Heat oven to 350o

Step 2Sauté onion and green pepper in olive oil or oil of choice, until onions are yellow. Add meat and fry until mixture falls apart. Stir in rest of ingredients.

Step 3Pour into greased 2 qt. casserole dish. Cover and bake 1 hr., removing cover last 15 min. Serve hot
