Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 16oz cans tomatoes, diced
- 1 15oz cans kidned beans, undrained
- 3 tablespoons green peppers, chopped
- 3/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup uncooked pre-cooked rice
- 3/4 cup sharp process cheese
- - corn chips, crushed (i prefer chili-cheese fritos)
How To Make texas beef

Step 1Brown beef with onion in skillet over med. heat. Stir in chili powder, salt, garlic salt, tomatoes, beans, rice, water, and green pepper. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.

Step 2Top with shredded cheese. Cover and heat until cheese melts, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle crushed corn chips around edge of pan and enjoy. I add sour cream on my plate when I eat it.
