Old family favorite that I modified for two from the Covenant Church cookbook...this recipe will be included in this cookbook as well!

  • 1 lb
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 lb
    frozen tater-tots
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can(s)
    milk or water
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Tater-Tot Hot Dish for TWO


  1. Brown hamburger and onions. Place in casserole.
  2. Cover with tater-tots.
  3. Heat (in pan for browning hamburger) 1 can of cream of chicken or mushroom soup diluted with water or milk.
  4. Pour over tater-tots. Sprinkle with cheese. Do not cover.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
