tater top beef casserole (original version)

Some time in the 70's my dad pulled this out of the food section of the paper. He suggested I try it and now it's an old standard that I still make every now & then. I've seen others' versions jazzed up with different veggies & adding more ingredients. Just thought I'd add in the original 'cause it's simple & easy to cook even on weekdays for working moms & dads. And if your kids are picky, there are fewer ingredients to object to. Now I want to try the new versions!

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cooked green beans
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 (sm) package tater tots
How To Make tater top beef casserole (original version)

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat margarine & cook onion slightly, add beef and cook through. Remove any grease. Blend in worcestershire, nutmeg, salt, green beans & soup.

Step 2Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle potatoes on top. Bake 'til brown. 20 min?
