Tasty Meatloaf with Gravy

Martha Price

I am always looking for that "perfect" meatloaf recipe, but this is the one I end up going back to. It is a variation on the recipe Campbell's soup used to have on its' label. It tastes good, and is my family's favorite - so far, anyway!

How to Make Tasty Meatloaf with Gravy

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients, except bacon, well. Pack firmly into an 8x4 inch baking pan, or free-form on baking sheet. If using bacon, place strips on top evenly to cover meatloaf.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 and 1/4 hours, - may take less time; check after 1 hour for doneness. Spoon off fat. Reserve 2 tablespoons of drippings.
  4. In small pot, heat remainder of can of soup, 1/4 cup water, and reserved drippings. Heat to boiling, stirring well to mix. Serve with meatloaf and mashed potatoes!
