Cabbage is inexpensive and filling... it lends itself to a variety of hot dishes too. Add Chopped cabbage to veggie soup, toss into a skillet stir-fry or saute with sliced apple and onuon for a side thats delicious with sausage. Also this delicious recipe started when my Mom's recipe for stuffed cabbage roll. It is easy, inexpensive and a whole lot quicker than stuffing cabbage leaves, yet tastes just as good. To please a large crowd, just double the ingredients. Yummy !
