- 1 cup chopped onion

- 1 cup barbecue sauce, prepared
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3-4 pounds boneless chuck roast, trimmed
- 14-18 - hamburger buns

Step 1In a slow cooker, combine the first 12 ingredients; mix well.

Step 3Cover and cook on high for 6-7 hours or until tender.

Step 4Remove roast; cool.

Step 5Shred meat and return to sauce; heat through.
