Taco Skillet by freda
This can be prepared in as little as 15 minutes.
I top mine with all the goodies, But you may just serve this topped with lettuce and tomatoes, depending on your budget and what's in your pantry..

TACO SKILLETT FILLING
1-2 lblean ground beef brown & drain
1 pkgtaco seasoning mix (your favorite)
2 Cminute brand white rice, ( dry uncooked)
1 Cmexican style shredded cheese
2 Cshredded lettuce
2 Cchopped tomatoes
1/2 Cupchopped green onions
1 smcan sliced black olives
·(optional) salsa & sour cream
How to Make Taco Skillet by freda
- in Non Stick Skillet, Brown Burger and drain off fat.
I use 2 Lbs ground beef if I want a lot of beef in mine with 2-pkg taco seasoning mix)
- Add water & Taco Seasoning mix,
(add more is you want more spice)
TIP: I DO A TASTE TEST for flavor!!
Then Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Stir in Dry Minute rice,
Sprinkle with cheese, & cover.
Reduce your heat to simmer for 5 Minutes, Covered.
Remove from heat,
- Top with "your Desired toppings"; of any of the following;
plus, Salsa, olives onions, sour cream, or Guacamole.
Serve Hot with Corn Chips if desired, or tortilla chips.
