Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 4 oz
    green chiles, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 3/4 c
    biscuit mix
  • 3
    eggs
  • 2
    tomatoes, diced
  • 1 c
    shredded monterey jack cheese

How to Make Taco Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease pie plate cook and stir beef and onion until beef is brown; drain.
  3. Sitr in seasoning mix spread in plate; sprinkle with chiles.
  4. Beat milk, baking mix and eggs until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater.
  5. Pour into plate.
  6. Bake 25 minutes top with diced tomatoes; sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean. (8-10 minutes)
  8. Cool 5 minutes,serve with sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese if desired.
