makes 2 pies, 8 servings each
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 - frozen deep dish pie shells
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 - each red and green pepper, chopped
- 1 - large onion, chopped
- 1 - large jar salsa
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
How To Make taco pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Step 2Fry together the peppers, onion and hamburger until the burger is no longer pink. Add the taco seasoning and the flour, mix in the salsa, corn and black beans. Cook for agout 5 minutes, or until mixture thickens

Step 3Divide the hamburger mixture between the 2 pie crust and top each one with 1 cup of the cheese, spreading evenly over the top.

Step 4Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool slightly before serving, for ease of cutting. Serve with sour cream on the side.
