Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 small avocado
- 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make taco patties

Step 1Mix meat, onion, salt, worcestershire sauce and pepper.

Step 2Shape mixture into 6 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick.

Step 3Brown patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning once.

Step 4Remove patties and set aside.

Step 5Pour fat from the skillet.

Step 6Mix water and seasoning mix in the same skillet and heat to boiling.

Step 7Reduce the heat and return the patties to the skillet.

Step 8Turn each one to coat with the sauce.

Step 9Peel avocado and cut into 6 rings.

Step 10Top each patty with an avocado ring.

Step 11Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 12Sprinkle with the cheese; cover and heat until the cheese has melted, about 2 minutes.

Step 13Serve sauce over the patties.
