I created this recipe for dinner one evening when I wanted to do something different with a pound of ground beef. It turned out so well my husband said I should put it on just a pinch. In his words, it's very tasty.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 - onion, diced
- 1/3 cup green pepper, diced
- 1 - jalepeno, diced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilis
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 pound pasta (i used fusilli)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups velveeta cheese, cubed
- 4 slices american cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make taco pasta

Step 1Boil pasta per package directions and drain well.

Step 2Brown ground beef with onions and peppers. Add seasonings and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3Stir in tomatoes, beans and corn,sour cream, velveeta and american cheese. Simmer till cheese is melted.

Step 4Add pasta to hamburger mix. Stir until mixed. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and serve.
