Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 can chopped green chilies, mild or spicy (small can)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 jar salsa, mild or medium (12 oz.)
- 1 can tomato sauce (small can)
- 1 can french fried onion rings, divided (small can)
- 18 large pasta shells ( the kind you can stuff)
How To Make taco pasta shells

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Cook Pasta according to package.

Step 2Mix tomato sauce, salsa & 1 cup of water. Save until later.

Step 3Cook ground chuck in a skillet with the onions. Salt & pepper to taste. Drain meat. Add green chilies, 1/2 of the cheese, 1/2 of the french fried onion rings & 1/2 of the sauce mixture.

Step 4Stuff the shells with the meat and place open side up in 13x9 casserole. Pour the other 1/2 of the sauce over shells.Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until hot through & through.

Step 5Sprinkle with rest of the onion rings and cheese. Bake for about 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted
