Like a change from your regular taco's? Try them on a bun instead of a taco shell.

yield 2 french bread tacos

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground round
  • 2 teaspoons ea. of cumin, garlic granules, and chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 - loaves of french bread
  • 8 slices real american cheese
  • 6-8 ounces grated cheddar
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 - tomato chopped
  • - lettuce opt
  • - taco sauce

How To Make taco on a bun

  • Step 1
    Cook ground round with spices till done. Add salt to taste. Chop onions and tomatoes.
  • Step 2
    Cut off top 1/3 of sub buns and hollow out slightly by removing some of the bread inside (do not go all the way through to the bottom of the bun).
  • Step 3
    Place american cheese on bun, top with taco meat, onion, grated cheese and tomato (lettuce, opt). Add taco sauce on top id desired.
