I needed something to serve to a large group immediately following church and came up with this. I left it in the crock pot on low so it would stay warm and be ready to go when we got home. It was a huge success and is now a main staple in our household. We prepare many dishes using this as the base (baked tacos, deep fried tacos, enchiladas, chili, casseroles, etc.).

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 - onion, shredded or finely minced
- - lots of fresh finely chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 can refried beans (small)
- 1 can rotel, drained
- 1 cup mexican blend shredded cheese
How To Make taco meat

Step 1Brown ground beef with onion and LOTS of garlic.

Step 2Drain.

Step 3Add chili powder, refried beans and drained Rotel.

Step 4Mix well and heat thoroughly.

Step 5Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
