My family loves taco mac and cheese and they are so good and cheesy and tasty. You can use elbow or shell macaroni.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 3/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/2 pound velveeta cheese, cut up

How To Make taco mac & cheese

  • Step 1
    Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Stir in water, ketchup and chili powder. Bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender and water is almost absorbed. Add prepared cheese product, cook until melted, stirring frequently. Garnish with crushed tortilla chips, chopped green onions and tomatoes, if desired.
