If you like food with a Southwestern Flair,this one's for you!Loaded with Meat, beans,green chilies,Cheese,olives,etc. It is sure a winner in our family!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 - 4 oz.can mild green chillies
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can 15 oz. black beans,rinsed and drained
  • 1 can 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes - italian style-in juice w/ basil,garlic & oregano
  • 1 can 16 oz. refried beans
  • 3 cups mexican blend shredded cheese
  • 1 can medium pitted olives-sliced
  • 4 - flour tortillas

How To Make taco lasagna casserole ole'!

  • Step 1
    In a large non-stick skillet,cook beef,onion on medium-high heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain off fat. Stir in water & taco seasoning;bring to a boil.Reduce heat;simmer,uncovered 2 minutes. Stir in mild green chilies,black beans,refried beans and tomatoes. Simmer uncovered for 10 min.
  • Step 2
    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place 2 tortillas in a greased 13 X 9" baking dish. Spread half blackbeans and beef mixture;sprinkle w/ 1 c. cheese. Repeat layers. Top with remaining tortillas and cheese. Sprinkle sliced black olives on to top.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 25-30 min,or until cheese is melted. Add sour cream to each individual servings, if desired.
